Our goal is for you to have the ability to sustain high levels of energy and wellbeing for a lifetime. We accomplish this goal by helping you become more athletic – this means increasing your raw performance potential and becoming more efficient at carrying out everyday physical tasks.
Strong, Fit & Active (SFA) is our principal Health & Performance series for adults of all shapes and sizes, over 36, who wants more muscle/less fat and needs to focus on developing the power, strength, stamina, and mobility to better serve and elevate the one’s they care about the most, to live life to the fullest and to enjoy their favorite activities for a lifetime.
SFA-CPD service supports those of you who enjoy training, are self-motivated, has trained regularly for up to several months and don't need coaching but lack the know how to take your training and body to the next level.
How it Works
After we discuss your goals, challenges to meeting those goals, injuries, nutrition, likes/dislikes to exercise, etc…, I will conduct the initial assessment and then, design a program to meet your goals. During our initial training session, I’ll take you through the program and answer any questions you have. You will get a good feel and understanding for the tempo, pace and overall flow of the training sessions. Also, I will check in with you periodically to answer any questions that may arise.
Your individualized fitness program is:
- Specific to your individual state of health, including current or history of injury. An assessment will be performed to help guide exercise selection and training load.
- Designed to fit into your lifestyle and not the other way around. Making you happier, more motivated and more likely to sustain change
- Functional – based on tasks directed toward your everyday life activities/sport. It will include a variety of exercises that work on flexibility/mobility, core, balance, endurance, strength, power and focusing on multiple movement planes.
- Progressive – training steadily increases the difficulty of the task.
- Periodized – peak at times when you are most visible.
Your optimized fitness program will:
- Bridge the gap between your current capacity and the capacity required to improve your performance and desired results
- Safely and efficiently take you to fitness results consistently, regardless of your age or current condition
- Save you time and increase your results by Quality versus Quantity
- Assure you are moving in the right direction by generating clear and steady increases in your performance and desired results
- Guarantee you will feel happier about your body and increase in your confidence, self-esteem and energy levels
In addition, by working the program you will grow more self-sufficient and Become Harder to Kill.
