Utilizing the BRM 4-Step Framework for Training With Pain, I develop comprehensive programs that help my clients reduce pain and improve performance and quality of life
I offer a better solution to help prevent overmedicalization and unnecessary surgeries. I will show you how to optimize form, programming, and mindset to keep you from having an unnecessary surgery.
And, if necessary, I can design strength training programs and coach people who’ve had an orthopedic surgery, have been discharged from physiotherapy, and are now at least 6-8 weeks post-op and cleared by the physician and physiotherapist for exercise.
You will learn why strength training is not only safe after orthopedic surgeries, but necessary in order to maximize function and quality of life.
Lower Extremity Surgeries
I cover some of the more common lower extremity surgeries including:
- Meniscectomies, Meniscus repairs, ACL repairs, Total knee/hip replacements, Knee articular cartilage defects, and Hip labral issues.
The Spine
- Laminectomies, Microdiscectomies, and Fusions.
The Shoulder
- Rotator cuff repairs, SLAP and Bankart repairs, and Shoulder replacements.
As a former collegiate football player and US Navy FMF Corpsman, I know a thing or two about pain and discomfort. After dealing with countless injuries in my younger days, I’ve made it my life’s mission to help others overcome theirs.
There are a LOT of you out there who need my help. Far too often, I see people with minor aches and pains get lost in the medical model. They may be told by a physician to stop lifting (because it’s “bad” for you) or undergo unnecessary surgeries that keep them out of the gym for months.
I want to help change that by working with people that have pain or mobility limitations and EMPOWER them to live stronger and healthier lives!
